The Beauty of Imperfection.
We didn’t want a perfect interior. Let the food be perfect…
The interior concept Wabi-sabi sounds almost like our favorite Wasabi
Wabi-sabi (Jap. 侘び寂び) is a term from Japanese aesthetics that focuses on embracing the beauty of things in their impermanence and imperfection. It gives rise to a worldview that encourages living in the present, accepting flaws, and appreciating simplicity. In terms of material aesthetics, wabi-sabi is characterized by traits such as asymmetry, roughness, imperfection, transience, incompleteness, modesty, simplicity, intimacy, earthiness, subdued tones, and understated elegance.
